Lunch Club
Founded in the 1970's as an offshoot of the Ladies Guild, the “Lunch Club” has a social as well as functional purpose, whereby senior members of the community can eat and meet friends. The club meets on Thursdays in the Community Centre.
The meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen by a team of volunteer cooks and at 12.30 p.m. the members assist in serving.
Membership fees are paid once a year and thereafter each meal costs a modest amount.
For further information about Lunch club contact the Convenor, Mrs Avril Berger, on 0131 664 2938. If you require transport to the lunch club, please contact Edward Green on 0131 337 1681 by Tuesday of the week for which you wish transport.
