Hovis bread products now have KLBD Kosher Certification; Kingsmill bread and other breads made by Allied bakeries bearing the symbol of the Sephardi Kashrut Authority (SKA) is kosher; all can be obtained in most supermarkets.

Edinburgh stores

Sainsbury's at Cameron Toll

has a wide selection of Kosher chilled goods at the end of Aisle 3, a Kosher section of dry goods in the 'World Foods' section in Aisle 6 and a limited selection of frozen goods, including chicken drumsticks and schnitzels, at the end of Aisle 18. The chilled goods include a variety of sliced deli meats and pastramis, viennas, worscht, chopped liver etc; fish balls, smoked salmon, cheeses: falafel and various 'veggie bites'; a variety of humus, salads and dips.

Costco at Straiton

has some kosher products, including Smoked Salmon, cheesecake, Chicago Hot Dogs and often Felafel and Fish balls, Two-bite Cinnamon Rolls and Brownies

Waitrose in Morningside

       has Challah and Sweet & Sour bread from London, plus a small supply of kosher dry goods.

Deliveries are made every two weeks to the Synagogue, usually on Thursday afternoons. Mark's Deli is very accommodating in providing meals for travellers.

Last Sunday, we had our most successful Coffee Morning ever with over 50 attendees.  The reports were that all who joined it said how much they enjoyed the get-together. We hope that our numbers will continue to grow and that our members will make full use of what is on offer during our continued lockdown.
